Time has slipped away so quickly in this year's Summer Institute. It's hard to believe that we only have 2 days to get everything done. I can feel the stress vibrating among the fellows as they check each item off of their list. I even have stress of my own, making sure that pieces are written and revised before I need to turn them in. Honestly, I haven't had much time to write on my own in comparison to last year. Everything that I have written has been written at home, usually late at night. However, they did get done. It has been very different being on staff. I have absolutely loved the opportunity to step up into a new leadership role. It has benefitted me tremendously. I've started my first "continuity" task with this year's fellows. We are utilizing the cork board in the conference room to post SI memories, one-liners, etc. Hopefully, we will have lots of anecdotes posted for our posterity.
