What has silver hair and drives a Lincoln TownCar? Our dinner guests most of the time. Cheney and I have gotten into the habit of eating a very late lunch/early dinner on Saturdays. We often leave the house at 3:30 or 4:00 to go to town and run errands and inevitably eat somewhere before we begin. In the last few months, I've noticed that each restaurant that we go to seems to be at maximum capacity of senior citizens. Tonight, as I looked around, we were the ONLY people in the entire restaurant that was under the age of 70 - okay, well maybe, 60. It reminds me of the Seinfeld episode about early bird specials and steaks for a reduced rate if you ate before 5:00. We haven't received a discount for our early eating yet, but it would be nice.
