Insta-Friday

I've been following blogs for quite some time now and I love getting up every morning and checking the updates.  It fascinates me to see what other people are doing - even the normal stuff - to do lists, photos of life in general, craft ideas, inspiration, room or furniture re-dos, etc.  One of the blogs that I've recently become acquainted with does a link-up each Friday called Insta-Friday.  This link up asks participants to share their photos that were taken with Instagram (iphone photo app).  This is my first time linking up.

This week was full of highs and lows for me.

Finally, the temps in South Carolina dropped enough so it was safe for me to run at my normal time.  The air quality has been sketchy this summer and I've had a difficult time while running.  But, it dropped down to the 80s and I was able to get outside and pound the pavement with my peeps (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, and Pink!)
We spent 4 days out of the last week in the vet's office with Cash.  The first photo is of one of those appointments where Dr. Courter was listening to his lungs to determine if the fluid had decreased in his lungs.  If you want to read more of his story, it is here. Cash often spent his nights lying in the bed beside me until I fell asleep.  This was taken on Wednesday when he finally felt well enough to jump on the bed.  This was the last time he snuggled up in the bed with me.  I'm glad that he had one last time to sleep where he loved to be.

After we left the vet's office without Cash, we were emotionally drained.  We went home and loved on little Taku, found a resting place for Cash, and then went to drown our sorrows in comfort food at Substation.

This week I had my first meetings at my new school.  I also had a little time to work in my classroom.  This is one of the bulletin boards in my new room.

I'm linking up to Life Rearranged for Insta-Friday. Join us!

Glad you were able to link up. Jeannett's a friend of mine and I'm sure she loves that others are doing this InstaFriday. It's a fun thing. And even though sometimes there is something sad to show, I feel you are sharing with family. This way we can feel your pain and pray for you. I know what it's like to lose a pet or have to let them go like that. I didn't even go to the vet with my dad when he took our dog. And I believe God gave Cash the strength to sleep with you that one last time. A gift for you. Thanks for sharing and welcome to InstaFriday.
